Makeover Solutions Taps McClennan to Bring Innovative Try-On Technology to Forefront of Beauty Industry

New York, NY- January 22, 2008- With the advent of social networking communities such as MySpace and Facebook, the way in which consumers engage with brands has evolved. Forrester Research predicts online retail sales will increase at a rate of 14 percent annually with the online beauty category surpassing the general retail category, growing 22 percent each year by 2010. Leading the charge in innovative and engaging beauty technology, Makeover Solutions (www.MakeoverSolutions.com) "makes over" its executive team with the appointment of Jeannette McClennan as CEO and President.

Industry leader, Jeannette McClennan takes the helm of the online beauty community for women, providing insight and visionary leadership with her 20 years of digital experience. Over the past three years, McClennan served as President of the Media Division for Local Matters. Prior to overseeing the local search company, she was President of OgilvyInteractive for North America, and a pioneer in leading the agency into the digital landscape. As a founding team member of MapQuest, she helped lay the marketing foundation for the company as Vice President, Sales and Marketing, by building the brand, driving traffic and generating advertising revenues. McClennan also established the east coast business for Organic Online, a digital marketing agency.

"Makeover Solutions is engaging consumers with highly interactive tools such as our try-on technology and offers a unique way to foster conversations, making for a superior consumer experience," said Jeannette McClennan, CEO and President, Makeover Solutions. "The online beauty category is ever-changing and our executive team at Makeover Solutions is dedicated to providing ground-breaking beauty content and engagement tools to inspire women everywhere. Makeover Solutions captures consumer interest and conversations and invites interaction, which makes the site a powerful advertising tool that allows users to interact with the ads organically and supports our advertising partners bottom-line."

McClennan is already leaving her mark on the company with the recent securement of an additional $7 million financing, signing of an advertising sales partnership with iVillage, and generation of rapid growth in site traffic from 900,000 unique users in August 2007 to 2.3 million unique visitors in December 2007(2) - 255 percent growth in site traffic.

"With the recent increase in unique users to the site, key indicators show that there is a demand for a product like Makeover Solutions and its 'try-on' technology from consumers and the marketplace. As an advertiser, there are innumerable opportunities for brands such as iVillage to penetrate consumer conversations. The addition of a new executive team led by Ms. McClennan is very exciting and we are thrilled to partner with the company that is leading the beauty industry by elevating the conversations and interactions between consumers and their favorite brands," said Bo Peabody, Managing General Partner, Village Ventures.

In addition to McClennan's proven success in the industry, she has already made tremendous steps in bringing to life her new vision for the company by hiring an impressive array of talent. An expert in online health and beauty, Scott Slatin will serve as Vice President of Marketing, formerly the Media Director for Waterfront Media. With vast experience leading sales teams at National Geographic and Motley Fool, Ted Ryan will oversee the growth of the company's business partnerships as Executive Vice President of Business Development.
